A web design challenge
The Lotus website was a special challenge. The company sells computers that compete with large brands like Lenovo and Dell as well as smaller companies like local custom PC builders. The website needed to be immediately clear on what Lotus is about, while offering quick and easy navigation, and a clear value proposition.
An easy site made for learning
The main website is built on WordPress, offering customers a clean interface to learn about Lotus, its products, and company story. The main site has clean navigation, is mobile-friendly, and filled with rich graphics and colors. Visitors on the homepage quickly notice key points of interest. It’s just as easy to go to the shopping section as it is to find the “about us” or tech support pages.
A robust e-commerce platform for selling computers
The e-commerce site is built on a lesser-known platform called Prestashop, which is made specifically for e-commerce. Prestashop is a comprehensive, well-made platform designed to make launching and running an online store quick and easy, while offering virtually limitless customization. Lotus needed a robust online shop that can handle the thousands of options available throughout its product line, and Prestashop was the one to deliver.
